Americas Best Value Inn Millinocket

This hotel in on the main road and a short drive to Baxter State park. It is one of the nicest hotels for the price range. We originally booked the first night at some cabins through expedia, but when we arrived, they had overbooked and sent us away! We turned up on this hotel's doorstep late that night and asked if they had a room and whether we could get the Priceline rate (which we had booked for the next two nights with them). They were more than happy to help out. The rooms were no fuss. Beds were comfy and the room was clean. There are 2 hit tubs inside a room at one end of the corridor and the pool at the other - kind of
daunting - so we didn't use the hot tub.. The offer is free continental breakfast was a platter of stale pastries, bagels and muffins which they place out in the lobby area. Its gross. There is also apple juice and coffee - but really, don't do it. Otherwise, great place to stay, clean, quiet, easy to find, close to Baxter SP. I recommend it! ...read more
